City of Glasgow College students brought Christmas to the River Clyde with this year’s college pantomime.

A 20-strong cast of HND Acting and Performance students took to the stage in the atmospheric venue of The Tall Ship for a production of Sinbad.

Anne Macleod, Acting and Performance lecturer at City of Glasgow College, said: “The panto was a huge success. The Tall Ship was a great venue and seeing the faces of the children who came on board to join Sinbad on his adventures was a reminder of the magic of pantomime and the fun and laughter that it brings to audiences of all ages.”

Sinbad is an action-packed adventure show which follows the story of a loveable sailor as he travels the seas to rescue his one true love. Glasgow’s Tall Ship, the Glenlee, is one of only five Clyde built ships still afloat in the world today and she is the only one of her kind in the UK. She proved to be the perfect venue for the swashbuckling pantomime.
