Events for students

What to get involved in college activities? Check out the college’s event page on MyCity for up to date information.

Healthy Body Healthy Mind

It's important to look after yourself when you're studying and, as part of our work towards the Healthy Body Healthy Mind Award, have created an online module for you to work through. This module outlines how we support students in sport, smoking cessation and mental health.  Log-in to MyCity to find out more.

Smoke-Free

The College has developed a No Smoking Policy in line with the Smoking, Health and Social Care (Scotland) Act 2005 which makes it a criminal offence to smoke within no-smoking places. All of our Campuses are Smoke-free which includes our grounds. If you're a smoker and want to quit, an Advisor from the NHS 'Quit Your Way' team holds a clinic every Monday from 11am-1pm at City Campus.

Cycle Parking

City of Glasgow College is committed to the promotion of active travel. At City Campus, we have an indoor cycle store which accommodates 268 bikes. At Riverside, we have bike racks for 200 bikes. Both are monitored by CCTV and both buildings have changing, showering and locker facilities available to all staff and students. We can provide gold-standard D-locks if you have forgotten yours and at City Campus, we have a full maintenance and repair kit and drying cabinets which are free to use.

Car Parking

Unfortunately, we don't have any parking available for students at our Campuses, however, there are ten accessible spaces close to the Allan Glen's Place entrance at City, with four available at Riverside. These spaces are only for disabled drivers with blue badges and are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Other Facilities

It would be a very long page if we included everything the college offers, however, you can see what's available here.
